Blog Post: Doritos Launches New “Rainbows” Chips in Partnership with it Gets Better Project

Hey guys and gals,

Here is an example of some ample white space design from Doritos. It is in support of the “It Gets Better Project,” which campaigns for LGBT rights and increased awareness/support groups.  While the design elements are interesting, the word choice is where Carliner’s, physical, cognitive and affective elements come into play. Do you notice any words that they chose to leave out? Why would they do that? If its in support of LGBT rights, shouldn’t some vocabulary be used?

Sidenote: A multinational corporation has a lot of things to think about with a campaign like this……
